Manuscript Types

Jurnal Ekonomi Pembangunan STIE Muhammadiyah Palopo accepts the following types of manuscripts related to economic development, economics, regional economics, public policy, and related fields:

  1. Original Research Article
    Full-length reports of original research presenting new findings, methods, or theoretical contributions. Typically 5,000–8,000 words (including references, tables, and figures).
  2. Review Article
    Comprehensive and critical reviews of existing literature that provide new insights, identify research gaps, or propose future research directions. Typically 6,000–10,000 words.
  3. Case Study
    In-depth analysis of a specific economic, regional, or policy case that offers practical and theoretical implications. Typically 4,000–7,000 words.
  4. Short Communication / Research Note
    Brief reports of significant preliminary findings or novel methods. Typically 2,000–4,000 words.
  5. Conceptual / Theoretical Paper
    Papers that develop new concepts, frameworks, or theoretical models without primary empirical data.

All manuscripts must be original, unpublished, and not under consideration elsewhere. Manuscripts should follow the journal’s author guidelines regarding structure, citation style, and formatting.
