Peer Review Process
Peer Review Process
- The articles published in Equilibrium : Jurnal Ilmiah Ekonomi, Manajemen dan Akuntansi are reviewed by 2 peer review partners.
- Journal review applies a double blind review system.
- Plagiarism screening of manuscripts that enter the Equilibrium : Jurnal Ilmiah Ekonomi, Manajemen dan Akuntansi is carried out with editorial and reviewer services as well as by checking the Turnitin application.
- In conducting the review process, research partners consider matters regarding: novelty of the topic, objectivity, methods, scientific impacts/implications, conclusions and references. In the end, the bestari partner chose one of the final recommendations, namely:
- Accept Submission. Receive articles without any revisions given
- Revision Required. Provide revisions without having to do a re-review. After the author revises the manuscript, it immediately proceeds to the editing process.
- Resubmit for Review. Provide revisions and after the author revises the manuscript, it is reviewed again.
- Resubmit elsewhere. manuscripts rejected and suggested for submission to other journals.
- Decline Submission. Reject writing because the quality does not meet the requirements.
- See comments. revision is needed according to reviewer's suggestion (in the form of recommendation)
Open Access Policy
This journal provides immediate open access to its content based on the principle that articles that are freely available to the public will support the development of science globally. All article manuscripts, which are accepted and have been published, will be available and free to download on the website. Readers can download and print published articles and editions free of charge.

Equilibrium : Jurnal Ilmiah Ekonomi, Manajemen dan Akuntansi retrieving current issues and articles follows LOCKSS idea of keeping multiple copies of our items on multiple servers to keep them safe (the LOCKSS system has permission to collect, preserve and service this Archive Unit).
- Deposit Policy
Pre-printed manuscripts (initial draft), accepted version (final draft) and publisher version (published PDF) may be archived independently on the author's personal website or institutional repository while maintaining progress status and original sources referring to the journal's website.
Publication Ethics
PUBLICATION ETHICS
The Equlibrium Journal is a scientific journal published every six months that contains the results of both theoretical and applied research from the fields of economics, management and accounting as well as other disciplines relevant to the field of economics. This statement of code of ethics for publication is an agreement of all parties involved in the publication process of the Equilibrium Journal which includes managers, editors, review partners, and authors. This statement of the code of ethics for scientific publications refers to the Regulation of the Head of LIPI Number 5 of 2014 concerning the Code of Ethics for Scientific Publications. Ethics of scientific publications puts forward three points of ethical values in publications, namely:
a) Neutrality, that is, it does not contain elements of conflict of interest in the management of publications;
b) Justice, namely giving in the form of authorship rights to those who are entitled as authors/writers; and
c) Honesty, which does not contain elements of duplication, fabrication, falsification, and plagiarism (DF2P) in publications.
Journal Manager Duties and Responsibilities
- Determine the name of the journal, scientific scope, periodicity, application for accreditation according to needs and determine the membership of the editorial board.
- Defines the relationship between publishers, editors, review partners, and other related parties listed in a contract.
- Appreciate things that are confidential, both for contributing researchers, authors/writers, editors, and review partners.
- Implement norms and provisions regarding intellectual property rights, especially copyright.
- Conduct a review of the journal's policy and submit it to the authors/authors, the editorial board, reviewers, and readers.
- Develop regulatory guidelines, ethical behavior for editors, review partners, and ensure periodic journal publications.
- Provide a source of funds for the sustainability of journal publishing.
- Building a network of cooperation with research institutions, related agencies, and preparing permits and other legal aspects.
Editor's Duties and Responsibilities
- Meeting the needs of readers and writers as well as striving to improve the quality of publications on an ongoing basis.
- Implement processes to ensure the quality of published papers.
- Prioritizing freedom of expression and maintaining the integrity of the author's academic track record.
- Submit corrections, clarifications, and apologies if needed.
- Responsible for the style and format of writing scientific papers, while the authors are responsible for statements in published papers.
- Actively solicit the opinions of authors, readers, review partners, and members of the editorial board to improve the quality of publications.
- Conduct periodic internal evaluations of the quality of scientific journals.
- Think openly to new opinions or the views of others that may conflict with personal opinions for the advancement of science.
- Encouraging authors to make improvements to their writings so that they are worthy of publication and accept the author's initiative regarding publication ethics by including a client form in each manuscript submission.
- Avoiding objective decisions by not defending one's own opinion.
Bestari Partner Duties and Responsibilities
- Reviewing written works, submitting the results of the study to the editor, as material for determining the feasibility of a written work to be published and correcting it according to predetermined standards.
- The reviewer does not conduct a scientific study of the written work that involves himself.
- Provide suggestions, and positive recommendations on scientific writing manuscripts.
- Maintain the privacy of the author by not disseminating the results of corrections, suggestions, and recommendations on a manuscript as well as encouraging improvements to the written work.
- The written work is reviewed in a timely manner according to the style of the publication environment based on scientific principles (data collection methods, author's legality, conclusions, etc.) that have been determined.
Author's Duties and Responsibilities
- Determine that those included in the list of authors have met the criteria as authors.
- Collectively responsible for the work and content of the article includes methods, analysis, calculations, and detailing the necessary parts.
- the details.
- Explain the origin of resources (including funding), either directly or indirectly.
- Describe improvement efforts in research.
- Pay attention to comments made by review partners and the editorial board in a scientifically professional manner and in a timely manner.
- Inform the editor in writing if he will withdraw his written work.
- Make a statement that the paper submitted for publication is original, and has not been published anywhere and in any language, and is not in the process of being submitted to another publisher.
For authors, please fill out a Statement of Ethics Clearance to be included as a file attachment at the time of submission of the manuscript.
Publication Frequency
Equilibrium : Jurnal Ilmiah Ekonomi, Manajemen dan Akuntansi published by Lembaga Penerbitan dan Publikasi Ilmiah (LPPI), Universitas Muhammadiyah Palopo periodically twice in each volume, namely April and September.

Article retraction
Equilibrium : Jurnal Ilmiah Ekonomi, Manajemen dan Akuntansi will be considered for withdrawal or cancellation if:
- The findings have been previously published elsewhere without cross-referencing, without permission, or without proper justification (eg, cases of over-publication).
- Is plagiarism.
- This is an unethical research.
