Author Guidelines

AUTHOR GUIDELINES
Jurnal Ekonomi Pembangunan STIE Muhammadiyah Palopo

 

GENERAL REQUIREMENT

  1. The article font type uses Times New Roman.
  2. Articles are written on A4 size paper with a top margin of 4cm, a left margin of 4cm, a right margin of 3cm, and a bottom margin of 3cm.
  3. Publishing articles have never been published or given to other media.
  4. In an article, there must be sequential page numbers.
  5. The writing style of the article must be consistent/unchanging.
  6. Writing references must be in sync between being cited in the body of the article and recorded in the references.
  7. All authors must be specified.
  8. Articles cannot be longer than 20 pages.
  9. The identity of the person contacted must be complete, correct and clear (including address, telephone number and email).
  10. The focus and scope of publishing articles should include study results in conceptual ideas, applied studies, and theory, literature reviews, reviews of new books, and writing practice in the field of Management.
  11. Articles submitted in the form of soft copy using Microsoft Word.
  12. Articles must be submitted at least 1 month prior to publication for each issue.
  13. Articles must be in Indonesian and must include an abstract in English.

ARTICLE WRITING STANDARDS

1. Article Title

  1. The title is written in Times New Roman 14 cpi and 1 (one) space.
  2. Title in bold.
  3. The author must write his full name in the article (not a nickname) and cannot be abbreviated.
  4. The author's name must be followed by the name of the author's institution.

2. Abstract

  1. Abstract is written in Times New Roman 10 cpi and 1 (one) space.
  2. Abstract cannot be more than 200 words.
  3. The abstract must contain a brief description of the objectives, methods, research results, conclusions and suggestions.
  4. Keywords are written in one space under the Abstract.
  5. Keywords can include at least 3 words and no more than 5 words

3. List of contents

  1. Article content typed in Times New Roman 12 cpi and 1.5 (one and a half) spaces.
  2. The article is written in the form of an essay, accompanied by the title of the section (heading) of each section, except for the introduction which is presented without a title. The title of the rating section must be bold and contain no numbers.
  • Rank 1 (all caps and align left)
  • Rank 2 (capitalize each word and align to the left)
  • Rank 3 (Case sentences and align left)
  1. Chapters and sections that must be in the article:
  • Conceptual articles are presented systematically as follows: (a) title, (b) identity of the author without an academic degree, (c) abstract, (d) keywords, (e) introduction (untitled section) which contains background and purpose or space scope of the article and (f) list of references.
  • Quantitative research results are presented systematically as follows: (a) title, (b) author's name, without academic degree, (c) abstract, (d) keywords, (e) introduction (untitled section) containing discussion of literature and research objectives , (f) method, (g) results, (h) discussion, (i) conclusions and suggestions, and (j) list of references.
  • Qualitative research results: presented systematically as follows: (a) title, (b) author's name, without academic degree, (c) abstract, (d) keywords, (e) introduction (Untitled section) contains discussion literature and objectives research, (f) methods, (g) results and discussion, (h) conclusions and suggestions, and (i) list of references.
  1. Quoting other people's opinions must be accompanied by the name of the author cited and the year.

Example:

1 (one) author: Wilber (2000)
2 (two) authors: Weston and Copeland (2002)
More than 2 (two) authors: Moh'd, et al. (2001)
5. Images (Charts, sketches, photos, and histograms) in the article must be accompanied by the source image, the serial number of the image, and the name/title of the image. The serial number of the image and the name / title of the image are written at the bottom after the image. The text on the image is written with a font size of 10.

6. The table in the article must be accompanied by the table of sources, the serial number of the table, and the name/title of the table. Table serial number and table name / title are written above the table. The text in the table is written with a font size of 10.

4. Reference

1. References are presented following the procedure as shown below and sorted alphabetically and chronologically.
2. References only contain references in the article.
3. References are written in Hanging form.
4. Write references from books.
Author Last Name, Author First Name can be abbreviated. Year. Book title. Publisher City: Publisher Name.

Example:

Wilbert, Ken. 2000. The Theory of Everything. Boston: Shambhala Publications, Inc.

5. Writing references from websites.

Author Last Name, Author First Name can be abbreviated. Year. Title. [On line]. Form: site address [date browsing].

Example:

Tsagklis, Ilias. 2017. Tutorial Aplikasi Lengkap Android. [On line]. From: http://www.javacodegeeks.com/2010/10/android.html [1 Juni 2017].

6. Writing references from the institute website.

Institution name. Year. Title. [On line]. Form: site address [date browsing].

Example:

Universitas Brawijaya. 2017. Tutorial Aplikasi Lengkap Android. [On line]. From: http://www.ub.ac.id/2010/10/android.html [1 Juni 2014].

7. Writing references from the Journal.

Author Last Name, Author First Name can be abbreviated. Year. Title in Journal article. Journal Name, Volume, Number, Pages. Publisher City: Publisher Name.

Example:

DD. Warrick. 1981. Gaya Kepemimpinan dan Konsekuensinya. Jurnal Pembelajaran Experiential dan Simulasi, Volume 3, Nomor 4, Halaman 155-172. Colorado: Colorado Sprige.

8. Writing references that are more than one to five people in the same book.

First Author's Last Name, First Author's First Name and can be abbreviated., 2nd Author's Name is written like the original or not reversed and can be abbreviated., And the 3rd Author's Name is written like the original / not reversed and can be abbreviated. Year. Book title. Publisher City: Publisher Name.

Example:

Dua orang

Weston, J.F. dan T.E. Copeland. 2002. Keuangan Manajerial. Edisi Kesembilan. Orlando: The Dryden Press.

Three Authors

9.  Writing References More Than Five People In The Same Book.

First Author Last Name, First Author First Name can be abbreviated. et al. Year. Book title. Publisher City: Publisher Name.

Example:

Angmar, Deris. et al. Narasi Kreativitas untuk Menulis 2014. Malang: Delov, Inc.

or

Angmar, D., et al. Narasi Kreativitas untuk Menulis 2014. Malang: Delov, Inc.

10.  Writing References From Books If Author As Editor.

Author Last Name, Author First Name can be abbreviated or abbreviated., ed or ed. Year. Book title. Publisher City: Publisher Name.

Example:

Angmar, Deris., Ed. Narasi Kreativitas untuk Menulis 2014. Malang: Delov, Inc.

11. Reference Writing From Books is Book Edition.

Author Last Name, Author First Name can be abbreviated. Year. Book Title (edition). Publisher City: Publisher Name.

Example:

Wilber, Ken. 2000. A Theory of Everything (edisi ketiga). Boston: Shambhala Publications, Inc.

12.   Book Writing References From Book Publishing Institutions.

Institution name. Year. Book title. Publisher City: Publisher Name.

Example:

Departemen Kesehatan. 2014. Dampak Merokok pada Kesehatan dan Ekonomi. Jakarta: Kementerian Kesehatan.


13.   The book writing reference is a book written by many people.

Author Last Name, Author First Name can be abbreviated or abbreviated. Year. "Theme", in the Dialog Title. Publisher City: Publisher Name.

Example:

Azzuhri. 1990. "Meningkatkan Kinerja Bisnis Lokal Melalui Manajemen Lintas Budaya", dalam the International Dialogue Scholars Association Management Indonesia. Malang: AIMI.

14.   Writing References from Translated Books.

Author Last Name, Author First Name can be abbreviated or abbreviated. Year. Book title. tr. Translator's name. Publisher City: Publisher Name.

Example:

Angmar, Deris. et al. Narasi Kreativitas untuk Menulis 2014. Tr. Taufik. Malang: Delov, Inc.

15.  Writing References from Thesis / Dissertation.

Author Last Name, Author First Name can be abbreviated or abbreviated. Year. Title of Thesis / Dissertation. Thesis/Dissertation at University Name: place of publication.

Example:

Armanu. Peran Perilaku Kewarganegaraan Organisasi sebagai Mediator Pengaruh Kepuasan Kerja, Lingkungan Kerja, dan Komitmen Organisasi terhadap Kinerja Karyawan. Disertasi doktoral di Universitas Brawijaya: Tidak diterbitkan.

16.   Writing Bibliography about Process.

Author Last Name, Author First Name can be abbreviated or abbreviated. Article Year.Title. Proceeding title. Organized place. Page.

Example:

17.   Writing References from Documents.

18.  Writing References from Magazines or Newspapers.

Author Last Name, Author First Name can be abbreviated or abbreviated. Article title. Magazine Name or Newspaper, Magazine or Newspaper Publication date, article page in Magazine or Newspaper. Publisher Place: Publisher Name.

Example:

Angmar, Deris. Keberhasilan Persahabatan. Kompas, 23 Februari 2014, Halaman: 1. Malang: Kompas Malang.

 

Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  1. The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  2. The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect document file format.
  3. Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  4. The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  5. The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Journal.
  6. If submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review have been followed.
